Bob Cotham Memorial Scholarship
Applicant Information
- All Shidler High School seniors who have a minimum grade
point average of 2.85 are eligible to apply.
- The Bob Cotham Memorial Scholarship is a $1000.00
scholarship which will be awarded each spring to (1) Shidler High School
senior at the Evening of Excellence.
- Criteria for selection will consist of the applicant’s:
Grade Point Average, Character, Financial Need and Leadership Qualities.
- The scholarship recipient will be expected to enroll and
begin studies the following fall semester unless otherwise approved by
trustees.
- The scholarship will be paid to the recipient $125 per
semester, as follows:
1)
Prior to the beginning of the first semester, recipient will provide
trustees with class enrollment information. The recipient will be required to be
a full time student (minimum of 12 credit hours). At this time the first
installment of the scholarship will be administered.
2)
At the end of each semester, the student must provide the trustees with a
transcript from that semester, along with their enrollment class schedule for
the following semester. At all times the student must maintain a minimum of a
2.5 grade point average.
- In order to remain eligible to receive the scholarship,
the student must attend two consecutive semesters. If there is a break in
continuing education, the recipient will forfeit the remainder of the
scholarship.
