Herb Bias Memorial Elementary Athletic Fund

In 1988 the Alumni Association voted to establish the Herb Bias Memorial Elementary Athletic Fund.  This fund was created to ensure that elementary athletics endured during financial hardships.   Mr. Bias was teacher, coach, and principal.  He believed athletics developed character.  The Association donates $125.00 to the school each year and has assisted in the purchase of athletic equipment for the elementary, Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

This yearly donation to the elementary comes directly from the Association’s general fund. If you would like to support the continuation of this donation and honor Mr. Bias’ memory you may do so by making donations in Mr. Bias’ name to the District 11 Alumni Association, P.O.
